Report: Economy near overheating, lack of labor force caps growth
MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- The Russian economy is close to overheating, its growth is limited by deficit of the labor force, Kirill Tremasov, head of the monetary policy department of the central bank, said on Wednesday in an interview to YouTube channel Bitkogan.
"The analysis of this (labor) market demonstrates that yes, the economy, the Russian economy is close to overheating. We are probably above our potential,” Tremasov said.
“Above potential capacity. And the labor market is the key limit for long-term growth."
